Time to Stamp Flip-It

Good Morning Ladies,
I am getting ready to be off and running today. I am going to a friends house to have a day of stamping, eating, and laughing.
The card for today is Time to Stamp Flip-It
This card was created using a new double set of clear stamps that I ordered. You get several images and sentiments that go together. So I decided to use the clock pair first. The flip-it card was cut with a Sizzix die as well as the layered pieces. The twine is from Fun Stampers Journey.
This is the flip side.
A close-up of the flip sentiment.
This Happy Birthday image is from the Stamps of Life.

Fairy German Cut Valentine

Good Morning Ladies,
We got just a little bit of snow last night. I think Dave thought it would be a lot more. So Yay! that the driveway does not need shoveled. It is kind of cold out there though.
The card for today is Fairy German Cut Valentine
The inspiration for this card was the Vintage Fairy German Embossed Cut. I love the bright colors. The card is created on a step base cut from green glitter card stock. The step card base was cut using a Cheery Lynn die. It is then layered with a bright green and white checked card stock. The hearts on the steps were cut with a Sizzix Frame-lits die set in purple card stock. The flowers were an add on to an order I placed and worked perfect with this card.

What's Up Dog?

Good Morning Ladies,
This week has been a busy week so far. Time is flying by.
The card for today is What's Up Dog?
This card started with the Outlines Stamps dog image. This image has a lot to colorize. It can be cut into pieces but I used it as a whole. It was colorized using watercolor crayons. The paw print background paper is from TPS. A small cord bow tops this card off.
The inside sentiment is from Sweet Stamps. This is a fun card to send to a friend.

Midnight Mushroom Girl

Good Morning Ladies,
I find it to be cold outside this morning. But the dogs don't seem to mind. They are out exploring this morning I guess.
The card for today is Midnight Mushroom Girl
This scene card was created without the use of masking. The girl and the mushrooms are all one stamp. This is a La Blanche stamp that I have been trying to get a hold of for quite some time. I was finally able to find her on a used stamp site on facebook. She was stamped on glossy cardstock with black archival ink. The fireflies were then stamped with the same ink. This scene was colorized using long stipple brushes. Adirondack inks were used to colorize this scene. The colors used are Denim, Sunshine Yellow, Rust, Sandal, Cloudy Blue, Butterscotch, Pesto, Purple Twilight, Slate, Sunset Orange, and Espresso. It seems like a lot of inks colors but it goes quickly. The twisting leaves and twigs were stamped last. These two stamps are from Stampscapes.

Loved Valentine Stand Up

Good Morning Ladies,
Winter does tend to drag on. I am looking forward to birds singing and grass being green. But for now I will enjoy things that winter brings like being in a warm house and drinking hot coco.
The card for today is Loved Valentine Stand Up
This card was created using a Sizzix Stand Up card die. This only the second card I have created with it. I mixed a couple of companies when creating this card. All the hearts are cut from a Sizzix Frame-lits die set. The heart music notes are cut using a Spellbinders die set. The you are loved sentiment is from a Fiskars clear set and the happy Valentines sentiment is an image from Wild Rose Studio. A feather and ribbon top this card off.

A Taste of India Elephant

Good Morning Ladies,
It feels very cold out there to me this morning. I think the dogs agree as they have only been out twice since five. This seems to be a stay inside day. But that will not be for me. Yes, work.
Today's card is A Taste of India Elephant
This card started with the cling set from Crafter's Companion A Taste of India. This is another Sheena Douglass set. The elephant was stamped on Bristol paper and colorized with watercolor crayons. He was then hand cut. The cardstock is from Graphic's 45 Bohemian Bazaar collection. It went perfect with this elephant.
This is the inside sentiment. The banners were cut with a Sizzix Thin-lits die set. The first part of the sentiment is from a CTMH clear set and the second half of the sentiment is from the Stamps of Life. It is stamped on shimmer card stock.
The most wanted cards in my booth at the Co-op Shoppes are birthday cards. So variety is the spice of life and my cards are not conventional. There is something for everyone and no two cards are alike. If you are local stop on by and check our shoppes out on State Street in La Porte, IN.

Valentine Puppies

Good Morning Ladies,
Yesterday I went up to the Co-op Shoppes in La Porte and freshened up my booth. New cards are in and some other surprises.
It is cold and rainy out this morning but the dogs don't seem to care. Another day of in and out, in and out. Looks like it may be a little slick out later. Glad I don't really have to go out for anything.
The card for today is Valentine Puppies
This Valentine started with an Art Impressions mouthful clear set. Of course it is the dog set. I stamped the dog on watercolor paper and colorized her with watercolor crayons. She was then hand cut. I popped her up on Valentine paper from TPS. The heart music notes were cut with a Spellbinders die set and the heart was cut with a Sizzix Frame-lits set. A heart ribbon tops this card off.
A view to show the popping of the dog.
The inside sentiment is from the Stamps of Life. I really like mixing companies up! The puppies in the wagon are from the same mouthful set.
The puppies are popped as well as the sentiment.

Canoe Be My Valentine

Good Morning Ladies,
The dogs are getting their energy out running up and down the stairs this morning. You would think it is a doggy gym.

Labrador Happy Birthday

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Monday! A whole new week lies ahead of me. I wonder what kind of fun this week will be!
The card for today is Labrador Happy Birthday
This card was created using an Inkadinkado clear stamp set. The Labrador is stamped in Archival ink on glossy card stock. I took my stipple brushes and stippled andirondak ink in two colors on the glossy card stock. I stippled two pieces and layered them. The background paper and card stock is from DCWV and Doddle Bug. Three flowers grace the corners. These are from my old stock. Brads fro the centers of the flowers follow the dot pattern. I have not used brads for a long time. Glad I cracked them out.

I dig you Valentine

Good Morning Ladies,
I have been spending time posting pictures of my mom and dad's new puppy on facebook. That is why this post is later than normal.
Today's card is I dig you Valentine
This was a fun card to create. I used two different stamp companies on the front of this card. The Stamps of Life and Inkadinkado. Both sets are clear stamps. The hearts were cut with a Sizzix Frame-lits set. The ink used was black archival and memento red. The heart edges were inked in the red. The paw print paper is from TPS. A fun doggy valentine.

The clouds and sun were cut from the same matching die set. The sentiments were stamped in black archival ink. The background is a textured shimmer card stock. I was surprised when I found out archival ink dries quite quickly on slick card stock. A sheer green ribbon tops this card off.

Sheena Douglass A Taste Of India

Good Morning Ladies,
I hear we are suppose to have a temp of  forty tomorrow. I am ready for spring but forty will do. The older I get the less I like winter.
The card for today Sheena Douglass A Taste Of India has warmer tones.
This card was created with two images from Crafter's Companion. The designer is Sheena Douglass and these two images are from a Taste of India collection. The masking technique was used here. The tiger was stamped first. A mask was then cut from Eclipse masking paper and applied over the top of the tiger. Then the arched buildings were stamped. The mask was removed. This scene was colorized using watercolor crayons. Foreign coins were added to the side for embellishments. The coins came from a guy that used to come to our county fair and sell all kinds of trinkets. He is long gone from the fair but I still have a small stash of coins I purchased from him all those years ago. Gotta love a county fair.

Sheena Douglass Just 4 Ewe

Good Morning Ladies,
Wow is it cold out this morning. Even the dogs ran in and out. They will do this several times before we leave for work. I guess all this cold will make spring seem even more beautiful!
My card for today is Sheena Douglass Just 4 Ewe
This is one of the new images I received the other day from Crafter's Companion. It is a Sheena Douglass image from the Little Bit Different collection.  I just love the Sheena Douglass images. I stamped this image on Bristol paper with Archival ink. And then I started to play. First I took my stipple brushes and applied Andirondak inks in three colors. Next I took my watercolor crayons and created shadows on the ewes and colorized the flowers with the same. It worked! A ribbon tops this card off.
This is the inside sentiment. It is from a Kelly Purkey set. I have had this set sitting around for quite some time and thought it was the perfect sentiment of this card.
