Tattered Lace Rally

Good Morning Ladies,
The camper is winterized and the leaves are falling. It's very chilly out this morning. I am working on Christmas cards as well as other cards.
The card for today is Tattered Lace Rally
This card was created using a black and white theme. It is a dog show Thank You card. The Australian Shepherd is an image from Dog Stamps Plus. He was colorized with watercolors and cut with a Spellbinders die. The arrows are from a Tattered Lace die set. The Rally-O banner is a wooden piece. It was colorized with black Archival ink. The lettering was hand done with a signo white gel pen.

Gel Press Snow Shadows

Good Morning Ladies,
I am a little slow moving this morning. So much to do today!
The card for today is Gel Press Snow Shadows
This card was created using a Gel Press background. Three colors of paint were used. I am loving the snow shadows stamp set from CTMH. This is a small set that can be used in big ways. The snowy brook from Stampscapes was stamped first. It was then colorized with watercolors. Stickles were added for the a snowy shimmer. The snow shadows were stamped next. The branches are an image from Stampscapes. They were also accented with Stickles.

VLVS Starry Night

Good Morning Ladies,
It's Saturday and I am up really early. I guess I have had enough sleep. There is plenty to do today. I am getting a head start.
The card for today is VLVS Starry Night
This card was created just for fun. The background was created using the smoosh spray technique. How fun!? The trees, photographer and pig are all from VLVS (viva las vegas stamps) The trees and photographer were stamped in archival ink right on to the background. They were then colorized using watercolors. The pig was stamped on mixed media paper. He was then colorized with watercolors and hand cut. The leaves are and image from Stampscapes. The stars were created with a white signo gel pen.

I am up and at it early today. I guess I just couldn't wait to get this day started. Always so much to do.

The background paper for this card is from TPS. The collie image is from Creative Visions and the sentiment is from CTMH. The collie was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolors as well as the background. The sentiment was stamped in brown archival ink.

Creative Visions Birthday Fairy

Good Morning Ladies,
The temp has dropped. A little chilly in the mornings but not so bad. I have been working on purge my stamps. Out with the old and in with the new.
The card for today is Creative Visions Birthday Fairy
The background paper for this card is from a mystery pack from Hobby Lobby. The fairy image is from a mystery bag from Creative Visions that came from the Fort Wayne stamp show. She is stamped on watercolor paper and is colorized with my new watercolor pencils from CTMH. She was then cut with a spellbinders die. Ribbon tied at the bottom tops this card off.

Snow Shadows Ornament

Good Morning Ladies,
I know it has been a few days. My demo went well at the retreat. I was very tired on Sunday and Monday morning sickness hit. I am feeling better now.
The project for today is Snow Shadows Ornament
This ornament was created on a paper mache' ornament. The snowflake paper is from my stash. The cardstock that creates the snow base is from my stash. The snow children and dog are from a new CTMH set I ordered and picked up at the retreat. This is a small set with a big impact. I love it. Kathy Anderson is my friend and dealer. LOL Ribbon and bells top this ornament off. This will go into one of my raffle baskets for the next dog show at Trail Creek Dog Training Club.
The side of the ornament is rolled in glitter.

Holiday Hugs Gingerbread

Good Morning Ladies.
I am headed out today to do a demo on the Gel Press at a scrapbook retreat. I am looking forward to it.
The card for today is Holiday Hugs Gingerbread

 This card was created using a Sizzix Flip-It die for the card base. The printed paper is from a TPS pad. The stamp set is from the Stamps of Life and is called Gingerbread2stamp. A white gel pen was used to create his icing. The house, lamp post, and elf are flatbacks.

Sheena Douglass Smoosh Technique Elephant

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a great day yesterday. I went to lunch with a friend. We chatted and just enjoyed each others company. I so love to go to lunch.
The card for today is Sheena Douglass Smoosh Technique Elephant
The background for this card was created using the smoosh technique. You take two pieces of watercolor paper and spray them with ink sprays. Dylusions ink sprays and a gold tattered angels ink spray was used here. You smoosh the two pieces of watercolor paper together and pull them apart. The have to laid off to the side to dry. Once dried the leaves were stamped onto the panel with limeade Fun Stampers Journey ink. The leaves and elephant are images from Sheena Douglass. The elephant was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolors. He was then hand cut. He was then put down on the panel using 3 in 1 glue.

Doggy Happy Happy Birthday Step Card

Good Morning Ladies,
Today looks to be another busy day. Busy is good. It means I am blessed to have all the energy to do what I want to do.
The card for today is Doggy Happy Happy Birthday Step Card
This card was created using the Sizzix step card die for the card base. It is cut from a piece of pink cardstock from the Paper Cut. The DSP is from my stash. The dog images, party hats and sentiment are from the Stamps of Life. The matching die set was also used. The name of the set is hats4critters. These are smaller images than the company usually produces. I love the size.

Creative Visions Chinese Dragon

Good Morning Ladies,
I must have went to bed to early. I was up at 4 a.m. this morning wide awake.
The card for today is Creative Visions Chinese Dragon
What do you do when you have a Chinese dragon image? Well, you pull out your origami paper that you have had for ages. I bought three bags of mystery stamps at the Fort Wayne stamp show from Creative Visions. They were a true bargain and I love the images. This dragon is one of the images. He was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolors. He was then cut with a Sizzix thin-lits circle die as well as the black and gold mats. The origami paper is from my stash. It has metallic gold in the fans.

Butterfly Thanks

Good Morning Ladies,
It was so warm out yesterday I could hardly believe it was fall. Went I went to bed the wind was pretty strong. Different weather.
The card for today is Butterfly Thanks
This card was create using a large background stamp on grey card stock. It was stamped using Archival Ink. The butterflies and dragonfly were colorized using watercolors. The large butterfly was stamped on glossy paper. It was then cut with the matching die. The large butterfly is from Stampendous. It was colorized with dye ink and a stipple brush. It was popped up on the card with pop dots. A skinny knotted ribbon top this card off.

Ho Ho Ho Santa Claus

Good Afternoon Ladies,
I ran out of time to blog this morning. I don't really know what made me run out of time but I did.
The card for today is Ho Ho Ho Santa Claus
 This card was created using the September Die Hard Club set from the Stamps of Life. The Santa was stamped on watercolor paper and colorized with watercolors. Stickles were used for the beard and mustache. Santa was then cut with the matching die. The sentiment is also from the Stamps of Life. The Santa paper is from TPS. The foil cardstock is from Create and Craft.
The Santa is attached to the card with an action wobble.

Tag Day

Good Morning Ladies,
Sunday morning...up and at it... So many things to do today. Laundry is top on my list.
Today is Tag Day
I love to do tags. They go perfect on a gift bag or are nice as bookmarks.
This first tag was created using one of the new images I purchased at the Fort Wayne stamp show. It is from Creative Visions. The image was stamped several times. Partial images work great. The fish are colorized with watercolors as well as the background. An ink pad was used to go around the edges.
 This tag was created using a Tim Holtz image. The tag was first stippled with dye ink. The image was then stamped in Archival Ink and a gold pen was used to go around the edges.
This tag was created by stamping the coffee cup an image by VLVS. It was then colorized using watercolors. The sentiment was stamped next. The sentiment is by Technique Junkies. The tag was then stippled with dye ink around the coffee. The edge was done in gold pen.

Today is the day I drop the seven pieces in La Porte county for the art abandonment today. The pieces will be dropped after 12 noon today. The locations have yet to be determined. I have to go to work first.

Gel Press Christmas Moose Card and Envelope

Good Morning Ladies,
It is Thursday....more week to go. More days this week to create. I am having fun with my gel press again.
The card for today is  Gel Press Christmas Moose Card and Envelope
The background for this card was created using the Gel Press. Grey and white acrylic paint were used on the Gel Press. Perfect for a winter background. The snowy bank and tree branches are images from Stampscapes. The snowy bank was colorized using watercolors. Stickles were added to the tree branches and the snowy bank to add sparkle to the snow. The moose is cut from a new die by Gina Marie that I picked up at the Fort Wayne stamp show.
 The inside sentiment is from the Stamps of Life. The moose is a flatback.
This is the matching envelope. It was the second pull from the Gel Press. The tree image is from Stampscapes and was stamped in dye ink. Stickles were added to the trees. The deer tracks are from a Hero Arts animal track set.

Fairy and Unicorn Believe

Good Morning Ladies,
We are into fall but not many leaves have changed yet. I am looking forward to the colors of inspiration changing. To get out and walk in the woods with no bugs. I love fall!
Today's project is Fairy and Unicorn Believe
This is another framed piece created for the La Porte County abandonment this Saturday.
This piece was created using mixed media paper and watercolors. The trees, leaves, and grass were created using Stampscapes stamps. The unicorn image is from Lavina. The word Believe is from Recollections. The fairy in the moon is from Creative Visions. The fairy in the moon was from a grab bag I purchased at the stamp show in Fort Wayne. If Creative Visions still have these grab bags they are an awesome buy.

Motor Cross Cool Dude

Good Morning Ladies,
I was home a little early yesterday. So I was able to work on art to abandonment projects for this Saturday. Today's framed piece is for that movement this Saturday.

As I mentioned above this is a piece for this Saturday. The background was created using a smoosh spray technique piece. At the bottom of this background Stampscapes rocks were stamped. They were then colorized with watercolors. The positive message was stamped. This message was created using stamps from Casual Fridays. The motor cross die cut was cut from my new Gina Marie die that I purchased at the Fort Wayne stamp show.

German Shepherd Sympathy

Good Morning Ladies,
I had a great time at the agility show. So did my dog Dude. I ended off the weekend with dinner out with my son, his girlfriend, my husband, my mom and my dad. In the book of life it was a super duper weekend.

Creative Vision Life Horse

Good Morning Ladies,
Wow did it pour down rain here yesterday. But I was thankful it was not snow. This fall is moving fast. It is time to winterize and put the camper away.

 I finally cracked out some of the new stamps I bought at the Fort Wayne stamp show. This wild horse is from Creative Vision. I just love their stamps. They had a fantastic sale at the show. Two New Die Card Folds

Good Morning Ladies,
I put together three raffle baskets last night for this weekends agility trial. Can't wait to see the others so I can see how many tickets I need.
Today there are two cards for Two New Die Card Folds
 This is the first new die fold card. It is a Sizzix die card. The scene was created using two new die sets from the show. The sun and clouds are from Gina Marie Dies. The kite is from Lawn Fawn. I am now hooked on Lawn Fawn.

This is a card die from Elizabeth Crafts. This card die belongs to my friend. A little more complicated to do but I did finally do it. The stamp set is from Close To My Heart (CTMH). If I make this card in the future it will have more stamping all the way around. I didn't realize that all the stamping must be done before it is put together.
